David Chen

David Chen is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in full life cycle software development and agile practices. He possesses extensive expertise in database architecture, having worked with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure, and NoSQL solutions for over 15 years.

With a background as an Enterprise Data Architect for more than a decade, David has deep knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, RAC, GoldenGate, Dataguard, and SQL replication. He is known for his problem-solving abilities, especially in design optimization, and is highly skilled in analytics and ETL processes.

David Chen is passionate about data-related technologies, particularly big data processing, ETL, and analytics. He has a strong focus on performance and scalability, as evidenced by his successful track record in delivering solutions that meet these criteria.

David pursued his academic interests by studying Entomological Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. He also holds a Master's degree in Entomology from China Agricultural University.
