David Charron
Entrepreneurship Innovation Futuring
David Charron is an accomplished educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology commercialization and innovation. He has worked for over 30 years in various capacities, including roles at renowned organizations such as Xerox PARC and several academic institutions, including MIT and Stanford. Currently, he serves as Lead Faculty and Assistant National Faculty Director for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) I-Corps programs, where he focuses on training scientists and entrepreneurs in commercializing their research.12
Charron teaches courses on innovation and entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley, covering topics such as Business Model Innovation, Growth Hacking, and Venture Capital Investing. He has been instrumental in developing entrepreneurial education programs globally, including a significant initiative with Intel Corporation aimed at fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems.12 Additionally, he has held leadership positions at Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where he directed various entrepreneurship initiatives and incubators that produced numerous successful startups.1
