David C. Linton ♦️

David C. Linton is an award-winning media professional and former senior marketing music label executive with a strong background in managing multi-million dollar profit centers. Linton has worked with some of America's biggest superstars such as Prince, Whitney Houston, and TLC during his stints at Arista, Capitol, and Island Records. Linton has a reputation as a "fixer" after successfully restructuring and implementing infrastructure systems at these companies, leading to increased market share and enhancing staff development.

Aside from his music industry experience, Linton has also managed two successful radio stations, WSHA-FM and WRVS-FM, serving as General Manager of both and launching the latter. He has also helped to improve the image of two colleges, Shaw University and Elizabeth City State University, by using mass media to market their programs resulting in a growth in enrollment and retention.

Currently serving as Program Director of Jazz 91.9 WCLK, one of the nation's most influential and top-rated Jazz stations, Linton has consistently increased the station's audience and TSL in the nation's #8 market, Atlanta, GA. His leadership and communication skills have been vital in maintaining internal and external relationships with managers, radio, television, and other media outlets.
