David Briggs

David Briggs is a seasoned Director and co-founder of GeoComply, a prominent company specializing in geolocation anti-fraud services.

With a robust background, David commenced his professional journey in Barclays Bank's internet banking unit, later leading Ladbrokes' online division to a position of market dominance during his tenure as Managing Director.

Boasting extensive global experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the United States, David, alongside his wife Anna Sainsbury, established GeoComply in 2012, now recognized as a premier provider of mission-critical geolocation certainty across various sectors like Media, FinTech, and regulated Gaming.

David Briggs brings to the table over 25 years of executive-level acumen in the rapidly growing technology industry, having operated in leadership capacities across the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America.

His academic background includes studies at the University of Warwick, a Master of Science (MSc) in East Asian Business Studies from the School of Oriental Studies, along with education at Crossley Heath School and Grosvenor House School.

Throughout his career, David has held pivotal roles in notable organizations, such as serving on the Board of Directors, being the CEO, Chairman, and Managing Director at GeoComply, Ladbrokes, and Barclays, respectively.
