David's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship from University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, a BS in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago with Cum Laude honors, and further studies in Big Data Analytics & Machine Learning at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Throughout his career, David Berglund has held key positions such as Global Head of Artificial Intelligence at FIS, Senior Vice President and Artificial Intelligence Leader at U.S. Bank, Managing Director of the Advanced Technology Collaborative at Optum, among other roles. He has also been involved in academic and entrepreneurial ventures, serving as a Guest Lecturer at Wharton Executive Education, and as a Cofounder of Hoodstarter and StarterLabs.
