    He pursued his medical education at Queen's University, followed by specialized training in Community Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

    Dr. Allison has held key positions in various organizations, including serving as a Health Advisor at the Canadian Red Cross and as a Clinical Associate Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

    His past roles include Epidemic Preparedness Delegate at the Canadian Red Cross, Chief Medical Officer of Health at the Department of Health and Community Services in Newfoundland and Labrador, and Senior Medical Officer at the Canadian Red Cross.
