Dave Walters is the Head of Systems and Services: TV, Radio & Archive at the BBC.1 He manages a team of dedicated Broadcast & IT Engineers, primarily supporting all technical aspects of Broadcasting and IT.1 Walters has extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, having held key roles at the BBC including Technology Controller. In his current position, he is responsible for overseeing processes and systems used to aggregate, distribute globally, and transmit BBC World Service programmes.2 Walters has also been involved in radio technology, particularly with Proteus, which he described as "radio's network management tool where we create the radio stations".3
