Dave Waite is a seasoned leader with a passion for nurturing new talent and building impactful relationships across all organizational levels.

With over 15 years of experience in envisioning, executing, and overseeing High Volume Manufacturing ATE test hardware development in the Mobile Sector Fabless semiconductor industry, Dave specializes in fine pitch BGA/POP packages and 3D packages, including PCB, thermal management, handler, and socket technologies.

He has a proven track record in Program Management and Business Development within the ASIC design services and EDA industry, leading design teams and driving new product introductions. Dave has managed over 110 ASIC designs in various technologies from design win to tape out, emphasizing high first silicon success rates.

Dave's expertise includes PCB technology innovation, ASIC/SOC design, Program Management, and Business Development. He is known for co-developing future solutions with key suppliers and specializing in ATE test socket and handler hardware development for advanced packages.

Dave Waite holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry Boranes from Newcastle University and completed his Pre-University education at Johnston School Durham.

He currently serves as the Chief Executive of a Self-Employed Test Hardware Consulting firm, with previous roles at prominent organizations such as Qualcomm, Cadence Systems, Synopsys, and Unisys. Additionally, he has held positions as an Advisory Board Member for Executive Perspective for Scientists and Engineers.
