Retired librarian, editor, wind band researcher
Dave Strickler is a professional with a diverse background in librarianship, linguistics, and Spanish studies. He holds a Master's degree in Library Science from Florida State University, a Master's degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Florida. Dave has gathered a wealth of experience through various roles in different organizations, including serving as a librarian at the University of Southern California, a systems librarian at Innovative Interfaces, and as the owner/operator of the Shell Beach Motel. Prior to his career in librarianship, Dave also held the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Additionally, Dave has showcased his musical talents as a former Euphonium musician in the San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra.
