Dave Snowden
David Snowden is a well-known figure in the field of complexity science, knowledge management, and narrative. He has worked in various roles over the years and is currently the founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cognitive Edge, a consultancy firm that focuses on the application of natural sciences to social systems. David has studied MBA in Financial Management at Middlesex University and holds a degree in Philosophy from Lancaster University. He has worked in NGO post-University and moved on to HR & Training in the late 70s, where he started working with computers. His experience and expertise led him to become a Development Accountant and General Manager in Data Sciences, where he created the Genus Program, one of the main components in the turn around of that company. He later went on to become the Director of the Institute for Knowledge Management at IBM and the Director of the Cynefin Centre IBM. David's focus is on Sensemaking, knowledge management, and complexity science applied to organisations.
