Dave Rogers, also known as 大卫罗, is a distinguished artist and veteran with 14 years of service in the army, including deployment in The Gulf War, Bosnia, 9-11 response at the World Trade Center, and Homeland Security missions for NY State.
A New York-based Neo-POP and Neo Surrealist Sculptor, Painter, and Installation artist, Dave's work has been showcased nationally in NY, Miami, NJ, CT, and internationally in China, Korea, Germany, England, France, and more. His pieces are housed in private and public collections, displayed in Museums, National Libraries, and Cultural Centers.
Rogers is affiliated with various prestigious art and oil painting associations in China, art councils in Huntington and Patchogue, and Studio Montclair. He has been featured in newspapers, magazines, and TV in Long Island, Miami, China, Korea, Japan, and the Dominican Republic.
With a strong educational background, Dave holds an MFA in Sculpture from Long Island University, a BA in Visual Arts from SUNY Old Westbury, and additional studies at the Academy of Art University. He is a former professor of art, art advisor, lecturer, and has received accolades for his contributions.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Rogers has been actively involved in veteran-related organizations, serving in various capacities such as Student Veteran Liaison, Senior Vice Commander, and Legislative Committee Member at VFW posts. He has also held roles in art organizations, youth jails, and educational institutions both in the US and China.
