Dave O'Donnell

Dave O'Donnell is a seasoned Producer and Executive Producer with a strong focus on the intersection of editorial content and technology.

He is a co-founder of Worldwide FM and boasts an extensive 15-year background in audio production and editorial work, spanning radio, podcasts, and voice projects for prestigious entities such as BBC, Google, The Guardian, The Economist, The Financial Times, The Telegraph, and Wetransfer.

Dave pursued his education at various reputable institutions, including studying A Level courses at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, completing his GCSE at Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, and attaining a MA Hons in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Edinburgh.

Throughout his career, Dave has held key roles in several notable organizations, including leading the FT Audio Lab at the Financial Times, serving as Producer and Executive Producer at Sound Motives, and contributing as Producer for Voice & AI at BBC.

His past experiences also include roles such as Editorial Lead and Audio Producer at Guardian Voice Lab of Guardian News & Media, Executive Producer and Managing Director at Worldwide FM, Senior Producer at Mistral Productions, and Radio Producer at Red Bull Studios Radio and BBC Radio 6Music & Radio 1 with Gilles Peterson at Somethin' Else.

Additionally, Dave has worked as a Digital Producer and Project Manager on The Nightjar iPhone App at Somethin' Else, served as a Radio Producer for BBC Radio 1 Xtra, engaged as a Research Analyst at IP Group plc, and started his career with an internship at Hospital Records.
