Dave Mau is a seasoned food industry expert with over two decades of experience. He has held various roles, including Executive Chef, Catering Director, Bar Manager and Full-service Consultant. Mau has a Bachelor's degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from California State University-Fullerton. He started with a career in food photography and styling, which led him to become a food writer at OC Weekly, observing and reporting on restaurant culture. Mau's solid people and communication skills have made him a successful chef and consultant. He has worked as an Executive Chef at Alibi Palm Springs, Wabi Sabi, Proof and Cooper, and owned and operated The ReTreat and The District Lounge.
