Dave Johnson, a development associate at the Neighborhood Development Company (NDC), specializes in supporting the process of commercial and residential infill development. After receiving a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Boston University, Johnson began his career in tech and journalism as a data journalist at Time Magazine and then as a product manager at Development Seed. However, he shifted his focus to the real estate industry with a goal of developing affordable housing in high-opportunity neighborhoods.
Before joining NDC, Johnson worked as an assistant and project manager at Schmidt Development. He has experience in building websites and data visualizations, which helps him to create a more comprehensive plan to support the development process for commercial and residential infill development.
Outside of work, Johnson is passionate about affordable housing and supports the development process for affordable housing projects in high-opportunity neighborhoods.
