Darya Pilram

Darya Pilram is a Senior User Experience Researcher focusing on Policy at Twitter.3 Her career spans various fields, including technology and conflict research. Prior to her role at Twitter, Darya led research and insights for Twitter's Harmful Group Activity team.1

Darya's background includes work in conflict and post-conflict zones, where she investigated the human aspects of conflict and unintended consequences of military operations in countries such as Afghanistan and Somalia.1

Currently, Darya serves as the head of strategy and policy for Carnegie Mellon University's Artificial Intelligence Division at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).1 Her educational background includes a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Anthropology from the University of California, San Diego.1
