Darryl Neier is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement, forensic accounting, and police reform. He currently serves as a Police Reform Administrator and Forensic/Investigative Accountant.4
Neier's career spans over 35 years, beginning with 20 years at the Morris County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey, where he retired as a detective sergeant specializing in fraud detection and prevention.12 In 2002, he joined Sobel & Co. in Livingston, becoming the principal in charge of the forensic accounting and litigation services group.1
Currently, Neier is the Managing Member of DLG Consulting and Advisory Services, where he applies his expertise in constitutional policing, police reform, and internal investigations both in the United States and internationally.23 Since May 2021, he has been appointed as the External Force Investigation Team Administrator in Albuquerque, NM, overseeing a team of 25 independent investigators.2
Neier holds a Master of Science in economic crime management from Utica College of Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from William Paterson University.1 He is also an adjunct faculty member at New York University, teaching financial investigations and compliance at the graduate level.1
