Darren Whitaker-Barnett

Darren Whitaker-Barnett, a Kiwi with Maori, English, and German heritage, is a proud father, husband, and a passionate fan of the All Blacks Rugby and Jordan.

As an innovator and technology company founder, Darren is the CEO of WhosOnLocation, a global leader in creating safer workspaces by simplifying the process of verifying the safety of individuals in organizations.

Under his leadership, WhosOnLocation has achieved significant recognition and success, including being a Red Herring Asia Top 100 Innovator, Deloitte Asia Pacific Fastest Growing 500 companies winner for multiple years, and ISO27001 Certified in 2019. The company was eventually acquired by U.S Proptech company MRI Software in 2021.

Darren's educational background includes studies in English, Economics at Awatapu College, Management Development Programme at Auckland Business School, Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets at Wharton Online, and Business Administration at Hartnell College.
