Darren Kelly is an accomplished administrator with a successful track record in the higher education sector. With expertise in Analytical Skills, Mentoring, Management, and Leadership, Darren holds a PhD in Kinesiology specializing in Sport Management from The University of Texas at Austin. His educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the same university and the University of Virginia respectively.

Throughout his career at The University of Texas at Austin, Darren has held several key positions. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Academic Diversity Initiatives, demonstrating his commitment to diversity and inclusion in academia. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Kinesiology and Health Education, showing his passion for teaching and research in these fields. Darren has also held roles such as Co-Director of the Urban Economic Development Global Leadership Program, Principal Investigator, and Director of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, showcasing his dedication to student success and leadership development.
