Darran Milne

Darran Milne is the CEO and co-founder of VividQ, a UK-based deep tech startup focusing on 3D holographic display technology. With strong ties to the University of Cambridge, VividQ has developed groundbreaking algorithms to facilitate mass consumer adoption of 3D holographic displays in augmented reality, mixed reality, automotive HUDs, and home entertainment systems. The company has secured £3mn in venture funding with prominent backers such as Suir Valley Ventures and Essex Innovations. Prior to launching VividQ, Darran worked in Fintech, developing quantitative risk management solutions for financial institutions. He also has a research background in quantum information theory, specializing in designing quantum systems for quantum computation, particularly focusing on topological (anyonic) states. Darran has delivered speeches at various prestigious events like the Embedded World Expo, Hannover Messe, NVidia GTC, Websummit, and SPIE Photonics West.
