Dr. Darmendra Ramcharran holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh. With a strong academic background, he has gained extensive experience in the field of epidemiology and pharmaceutical research.
Currently, Dr. Ramcharran serves as the Director of Epidemiology at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. His role involves leading epidemiological research and analysis to support the development and safety of pharmaceutical products.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Ramcharran held the role of Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Rhode Island, where he shared his expertise with aspiring healthcare professionals.
Dr. Ramcharran has also worked as an Epidemiologist in the orthopedic medical devices division of Johnson & Johnson (DePuy Synthes), Pfizer, and Via Research, LLC, focusing on pharmaceuticals in various capacities.
