Darienne Montgomery

Darienne Montgomery is the High Country Food Hub Assistant Manager at Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with a minor in psychology.2

In her role, Montgomery has been involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing local food access, including the successful launch of a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) program in Campbell County, Virginia. This program, which began in 2022, served over 100 subscribers in its first year and aims to expand its membership significantly for the upcoming season.1

In addition to her work in agriculture, Montgomery is also recognized for her skills in photography and videography, particularly in relation to outdoor recreation and wellness.
