Daria Mateljak

Daria Mateljak has garnered 28 years of experience in the government sector and communications management consulting, focusing on promoting sustainable corporate and organizational relations.

Her expertise lies in strategic consulting encompassing corporate relations, stakeholder relations, strategic communication, reputation management, non-financial reporting, CSR processes, sustainable development strategies, risk management, crisis management, community relations, and information campaigns.

As an Ambassador of Diversity Charter Croatia, Daria actively advocates for diversity and inclusion within organizations, advises on D&I processes, and drives educational initiatives to uphold professional and ethical standards in corporate relations.

Her academic background includes an MSc in General Linguistics, English Language and Literature from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and ongoing Ph.D. studies in Communication Studies at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.

Throughout her career, Daria has held various roles, including Managing Partner at Hauska & Partner, Lecturer at Edward Bernays College of Communication Management, and Managing Director Croatia at Hauska & Partner, among other leadership positions in reputable organizations.

She has also contributed significantly to the field through roles such as President of the Management Board and President of the Supervisory Board at Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development, and as a former Member of the Management Board at Croatian Association of Communications Consultancies.

Daria's career journey includes extensive experience in senior advisory roles within the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Information. Moreover, she has been involved in freelance executive positions across various companies.

In her pursuit of advancing corporate relations professionalism, Daria Mateljak places a strong emphasis on integrating CSR, sustainability, and diversity into business processes to align with stakeholder interests and promote positive organizational relationships.
