Dareen Alhyari
Engineering Manager at Google
Dareen Alhyari is an accomplished tech leader, celebrated in both the UAE and the US. She is the founder and leader of DuBytes, Dubai's largest tech community group, with nearly 2,000 members, where she has organized monthly tech talks for years. Alhyari is also recognized for launching and coordinating Technovation Challenge in Jordan, which educates and mentors school girls who aspire to pursue a career in tech. She has worked as a trainer and mentor in hackathons and tech events like WOWZAPP and Startup Weekend, and has been chosen to judge several startup competitions. Alhyari has spoken at several public events, including Microsoft OpenDoors and Women in STEM by Meera Kaul Foundation. She is a member of the Arab Women In Computing (AWIC) study since 2013, led by Prof. Sana Odeh, NewYork University.

After pursuing her undergraduate studies, Alhyari obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
Currently, Alhyari is working as a Software Engineering Manager at Google.
