Darcy Rao

Darcy Rao is an experienced professional with a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research in the field of reproductive and sexual health, specializing in sexual minorities and HIV prevention.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health, and a B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University.

Currently serving as an Acting Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Darcy has previously held roles such as Postdoctoral Scholar, Predoctoral Research Fellow, and Teaching Assistant at the same institution.

Her past experiences also include positions as a Public Health Program Associate and Teaching Assistant at Emory University, a Research Intern at Population Council, a HealthCorps Member focusing on Adolescent Services with AmeriCorps, and a variety of other positions showcasing her commitment to public health and research in various organizations.
