Daphne Chang

Daphne Chang is the Chief Operating Officer at GV, the venture arm of Alphabet.12 In her role, she oversees the fund's internal operations.2 Prior to becoming COO, Daphne served as General Counsel at GV.23

Before joining GV, Daphne practiced corporate law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she advised clients on various aspects of the startup lifecycle, including incorporation, financings, M&A transactions, and public offerings.1

Daphne's educational background includes a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.1

Currently, Daphne has transitioned to a new role as General Counsel at Lowercarbon Capital, where she manages the fund's legal operations, advises partners on governance and transactional matters, and oversees compliance and risk management.1

In her personal time, Daphne enjoys watching shows on her Peloton, reading books, and supporting her two children at their soccer games.1
