Danny Yeung is the CEO and Co-Founder of Prenetics, a genomics-driven health sciences company based in Hong Kong. He has been leading Prenetics since its establishment in November 2014. The company focuses on revolutionizing prevention, early detection, and treatment of diseases through innovative technologies, particularly in the field of DNA testing with its consumer product, CircleDNA. This product utilizes whole exome sequencing to provide comprehensive DNA analysis.
In addition to his role at Prenetics, Danny Yeung is also the CEO of Insighta, a joint venture with renowned scientist Prof. Dennis Lo, which aims to advance multi-cancer early detection technologies. Insighta plans to launch its first product, Presight, for lung and liver cancers in 2025, with further expansions planned for additional cancer types by 2027.
Yeung has a strong entrepreneurial background, having previously served as CEO and Co-Founder of Groupon East Asia and uBuyiBuy.com, which was acquired by Groupon. He is also a founding partner at SXE Ventures, a venture fund that supports early-stage startups in Hong Kong.1
