Danny van Leeuwen is a nurse, caregiver, and data geek committed to health equity, leveraging his privilege and experience to open seats at the table of healthcare governance, design, operations, and research for under-represented and underserved communities. He is a two-legged, cisgender, old, white man of privilege living in a food oasis with multiple sclerosis. Danny is also a speaker, blogger, podcaster, technical expert, user tester, capacity builder, musician, and Opa. He holds an Associate's degree in Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing from Wayne County Community College District, a Bachelor of Arts in Regients from Glenville State College, and an MPH in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota. Danny has worked with various organizations such as Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), Advocates, Inc., Wellesley Partners, LTD, Boston Children's Hospital, St. Peter's Health Care Services, Bassett Healthcare Network, Healthcare Association of New York State ( HANYS), etc.
