Danielle Sheypuk, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in addressing issues of dating, sexuality, and romance in the disabled community.13 She is the founder of Dr. Sheypuk's Private Therapy Practice, where she offers Skype-based treatment to make it easier for people with disabilities to attend sessions.12
Sheypuk was born with spinal muscular atrophy and has been wheelchair-dependent since childhood.2 She grew up in Jermyn, Pennsylvania and later moved to New York City to pursue her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research.24
