Letayf grew up in New Hampshire, where she often felt the absence of diversity. This experience fueled her passion for inclusivity. She graduated from Boston University in 2013 with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Prior to founding Badassery, she held significant roles, including Community Lead at Shine Inc. and Head of Programs & Community at Built by Girls, where she helped cultivate a community of young women interested in technology.13
Badassery's Mission
Badassery aims to empower unconventional thought leaders and facilitate their participation in discussions that shape industries. The platform not only serves as a booking tool for speakers but also fosters a community through mentorship and networking opportunities. Since its inception, Badassery has grown to include nearly 150 members, with a focus on supporting those from diverse backgrounds.14
