Danielle Gilbert

Danielle Gilbert is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background in political science and a strong focus on comparative politics, nationalism, and ethnicity.

Having completed her BA in Ethics, Politics, & Economics at Yale University, Danielle went on to pursue an MSc in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, followed by a PhD in Political Science at The George Washington University with a specialization in Comparative Politics and Research Methods.

Danielle's professional journey includes roles in academia, research institutes, government, and political organizations. She has served as a Nonresident Fellow at the Modern War Institute at the United States Military Academy at West Point and as an Assistant Professor of Military & Strategic Studies at the United States Air Force Academy. Additionally, Danielle has held positions as a Minerva/Jennings Randolph Peace Scholar at the United States Institute of Peace and as a PhD Candidate at The George Washington University.

Prior to her academic and research roles, Danielle gained valuable experience in the political arena by working as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Appropriations Associate at the U.S. House of Representatives, Regional Jewish Outreach Director at Organizing for America in Florida, and as a Jewish Outreach Liaison at the Democratic National Committee. She has also held positions as a Legislative Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives, Research and Program Assistant at the Elliott School of International Affairs, Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations, and Research Intern at both the Council on Foreign Relations and the Solicitor General.
