Danielle Carruthers is a purpose-driven entrepreneur focused on the intersection between social impact and financial sustainability. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management from Mount Royal University and a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of the Pacific, she has accumulated diverse professional experience in marketing, communications, business development, team facilitation, and project management across various sectors.
As the founder and CEO of theSedge.org, Danielle helps entrepreneurial leaders to excel by providing online-based courses, one-on-one or group coaching, and educational resources that promote mindset transformation and effective strategy implementation. Through organic collaborations with other social impact strategists, she co-authored a book entitled "Meeting of the Minds: The Social Entrepreneur's Roadmap for Collaborations that Work," and co-founded the Changemakers Association, a learning community that offers affordable training and mentoring. Danielle has also worked with organizations such as the Calgary Centre for Global Community, Sleep Well Tonight, Social Venture Partners Calgary, and HSBC Bank Canada, among others.
Danielle is passionate about creating new opportunities for social entrepreneurs to thrive and make a positive impact on the world. She enjoys facilitating discussions, hosting workshops and presentations, and providing guidance to entrepreneurs looking to turn their ideas into sustainable ventures.
