Dr. Danielle Carnival is a highly accomplished individual with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Boston College. With a rich professional background, she has held pivotal roles at esteemed institutions, showcasing her expertise and leadership.

As the CEO of I AM ALS, Dr. Carnival is at the forefront of leading a patient-centric community dedicated to reshaping public understanding of ALS. She spearheads initiatives that provide crucial resources to the ALS community, empowering patients to take charge in the fight against the disease and drive efforts towards finding cures.

During her tenure as Vice President of the Biden Cancer Initiative, Dr. Carnival demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing organizational development, program implementation, policy formulation, and partnership cultivation. Her contributions spanned over six years at the White House, where she utilized her scientific acumen to craft and execute programs aligning with the Obama Administration's objectives in collaboration with various sectors.

Dr. Carnival's impactful work extended across diverse domains such as health and biomedical policy, cancer research, neuroscience, STEM education, and promoting diversity in STEM disciplines.
