Danielle Brants is an accomplished entrepreneur and edtech leader driven by a passion for democratizing education and making a positive impact on the lives of millions of students. As co-founder and product leader at Árvore, she is at the forefront of a mission to promote literacy and reading among young people while providing equal access to quality education.
Brants' background includes a diverse range of experiences that have helped shape her into the innovative and forward-thinking leader she is today. Prior to her work in edtech, Brants honed her skills as an investment banker and corporate finance expert. She worked for several years in M&A and business development roles at General Electric, G5 Advisors/Evercore, and Morgan Stanley. She also served as a senior analyst in private equity and venture capital at Emerging Capital - Brazil.
Brants is a recipient of numerous awards and honors for her work in edtech, including the Empreendedor Social do Ano, awarded by Folha de São Paulo and the Schwab Foundation, and recognition by the MIT Tech Review as one of the 10 "Innovators under 35" in Brazil. She also spearheaded Guten Educação, which garnered recognition as Social Innovation of the year by the MIT Tech Review.
Brants holds an undergraduate degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil and has continued her education through programs like Reforge's Product Strategy course and a Harvard University Graduate School of Education Think Tank on Global Education.
