Danielle Bicknell is a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong passion for helping others. With a background in international development, social entrepreneurship, and gender mainstreaming, she has accumulated over a decade of experience in various sectors including private, public, and nonprofit. Danielle holds a Master's degree in International Educational Development and Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, where she honed her skills in creating real-world solutions for society's challenges.
Currently, as the Program Manager at SecondMuse's youth health and wellbeing innovation program, Headstream, based in San Francisco, Danielle collaborates with social entrepreneurs worldwide to amplify their impact. She is adept at designing and managing programs that challenge the status quo and advocate for changes in public policy. Prior to this role, she served as a Social Impact Advisor at UC Berkeley and managed the Big Ideas contest across 16 campuses, showcasing her proficiency in driving social change and innovation.
Before her tenure at SecondMuse, Danielle founded and led her consulting firm, Dab Consulting, offering strategic guidance to startups and organizations on operations, project management, and design. Her diverse work experience includes serving as a program specialist in the Division for Gender Equality at UNESCO and being an early employee at LendUp, where she spearheaded the development and expansion of financial education and social impact initiatives. Danielle's international consulting engagements have taken her across multiple countries, with a primary focus on the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
