Daniela Manzanera
Lic. en Idiomas y Relaciones Públicas
Daniela Manzanera is a teacher of Mexican Sign Language (LSM) and Portuguese at Universidad La Salle Laguna (ULSA).1 She began teaching LSM at ULSA in January and has been leading a group called "Miradas y señas" at Teatro Nazas for about a year.1
Manzanera's interest in learning LSM started two years ago after a challenging experience communicating with a deaf person at a hair salon. This motivated her to study the language to better understand and communicate with people who have hearing disabilities.1
She holds a degree in Languages and Public Relations from ULSA.1 Manzanera is passionate about promoting inclusivity and encourages others to learn LSM, emphasizing its uniqueness as a language expressed through hand movements.1
In addition to her teaching roles, Manzanera has experience in both the acting industry and the corporate world.2 She has also participated in an exchange program at the University of Jaén in Spain.3
