Daniel (Danner) Stodolsky
Daniel Stodolsky, a computer science expert, is a manager, architect, and developer with extensive experience in content delivery, storage, and video. He specializes in large scale systems, micro-optimization, kernel/application interfaces, and hardware/software co-design. He has been a former Senior Director of Engineering and Data Strategy at Akamai Technologies, where he was responsible for the engineering direction of its mapping and load balancing. Additionally, he's a former Director of Engineering at Lycos and Senior Staff Engineer at Google. Stodolsky obtained his BS in Chemistry, MS in Math, and studied a PhD in Computer Science all from Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, he is the Director of YouTube TV and YouTube Video Infrastructure at Google. His particular interests are in distributed systems, hardware/software co-design, and hiring and maturing engineering teams.
