Daniel Sabio is a Puerto Rican artist, programmer, and VJ, renowned for his pioneering work in virtual reality music as an art form.

In 2016, Daniel founded the Art in Tech Atlanta Meetup and co-founded VLSC Records, an international indie electronic label.
Daniel Sabio holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed an Intensive in Ecoacoustics (Spatial Audio Sound Design) at the School of Machines, Making, and Make Believe.
His professional experience spans roles such as Creative Coder at Cosmic Lab, Live VR Musician/VR Developer at The Glad Scientist, and Creative Technologist at The Glad Scientist.
Daniel also served as an IDEO CoLab Summer Fellow and Winter Fellow at IDEO CoLab, and as the Director of Programs & Marketing, Minister of Awesome at TechSquare Labs.
He has worked in various capacities including Full Stack Developer, Interaction Designer at Icon Worldwide, Creative Director at Sabio Designs, and Web Designer & Developer, Disc Jockey at Global Media Alliance.
Furthermore, Daniel Sabio has academic experience as a URA/TA in the College of Architecture and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Health Systems Institute (HSI), both at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
