Daniel Rottinghaus

Daniel L. Rottinghaus is a litigation partner at Berding & Weil LLP, specializing in construction defect and complex litigation for both commercial and residential real estate clients. His extensive experience includes representing notable clients such as The Irvine Company, Intuit, and various homeowner associations across California. He has successfully handled significant cases, including class action suits and high-stakes litigation, recovering over $500 million for his clients throughout his career.14

Rottinghaus holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Georgetown University. He also has dual bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Political Science from UCLA. Before his legal career, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, where he was involved in high-profile legal matters, including multi-billion dollar claims related to U.S. military sales to Iran.
