Daniel Reif

Daniel Reif is a highly experienced data scientist with a proven track record of leading and growing large data science teams. He is skilled at creatively solving problems and utilizing data science to guide effective decision making. With a background in Medication Adherence, Behavior Change Campaigns, Clinical Analytics and Population Health, Medical Economics/Value Based Purchasing, and Risk Adjustment, Daniel has a wealth of expertise in many areas of the healthcare industry.

Daniel possesses a wide range of technical skills and is proficient in predictive modeling, descriptive analysis, experiment design (e.g. A/B testing), campaign evaluation, and optimization. He is also well versed in the architecture of enterprise data solutions and production-ready scoring/triggering processes, as well as using big data tools (Hadoop, etc..) and traditional ones (SQL, etc...). Daniel has experience working with visualization tools like Tableau or Spotfire and is an excellent problem framer and communicator.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Flinders University. He has held several leadership positions throughout his career, including Senior Director, Data Science (Member Analytics) at CVS Health, Director, Data Science (Member Analytics) at Aetna, and Senior Informatics Manager, Data Science (Clinical Analytics) at Aetna. Daniel has also held positions at PwC and Healthfirst, where he was involved in healthcare analytics, finance analysis, business intelligence, and healthcare analysis.
