Daniel Pesut is an Innovative Nurse Educator, Academic Career Coach, Author, Keynote Speaker, Organizational Consultant, and Futurist who is dedicated to shaping the future of nursing and healthcare through the development of foresight leadership.

His expertise lies in assisting individuals in creating desired futures by leveraging creativity, innovation, and foresight, and he is passionate about influencing and educating the next generation of healthcare leaders in critical, creative, complexity, strategic, systems, and integral thinking skills.

Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from UT Health San Antonio, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Northern Illinois University, and a Certificate in Integral Studies from Fielding Graduate Institute.

With a vast array of roles in various prestigious organizations, he has served as a Professor Emeritus, Author of Innovation in Nursing Education, Professor of Nursing, and Director of the Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing.

Additionally, Daniel has been the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Director of the PhD Program at Indiana University, Professor and Department Chairperson of Environments for Health at Indiana University School of Nursing, Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina, Director of Nursing and Associate Institute Director at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute SCDMH, Associate Professor at the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, and has held roles as a Staff Nurse and Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist at US Army.
