Daniel Oros is an accomplished investor with over 15 years of experience in various industries, including energy, financial services, manufacturing, and logistics. He currently serves as a partner at G2 Venture Partners and specializes in rapidly growing technology companies in the industrial, consumer, and financial services sectors.
Before joining G2VP, Daniel co-founded and led investments for the Green Growth Fund at Kleiner Perkins in 2009. He has also served as a board member at various companies, including Fictiv, Optoro, and TAS Energy Inc.
Daniel's background also includes prior roles at Goldman Sachs, where he was a vice president in the Special Situations Group and a founding member of its alternative energy investing team. He subsequently led the team's solar initiatives, managing a portfolio that included First Solar and SunEdison.
A graduate of Stanford University with a BS in Management Science and Engineering, Daniel also serves on the board of the Ocean Conservancy and the Advisory Board at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment. He is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist with a passion for sustainable investing.
