Daniel Orchard

Daniel Orchard is the CEO and Co-Founder of Core Clapton, a community-focused osteopathy clinic in Clapton, London, established in 2016. His mission is to make osteopathy accessible to all, particularly for those suffering from chronic pain, by providing affordable treatments and conducting research in the field of osteopathy. The clinic operates under the umbrella of the Centre for Osteopathic Research & Excellence (CORE), which he also co-founded.12

Background and Education

Orchard studied Human Biology at the University of Leeds, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from 1995 to 1998. He then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Pain: Science & Society at King's College London from 2010 to 2012. He graduated as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy (now known as the University College of Osteopathy) between 2001 and 2005.13

Professional Experience

In addition to his role at Core Clapton, Orchard has been a Lecturer in Pain Science at the University College of Osteopathy since 2010, where he teaches on various aspects of pain management and osteopathy. He has also held positions such as Principal Osteopath at Goldman Sachs and Non-Executive Director at the Institute of Osteopathy.123
