Daniel Lanyi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange (FX) and fixed income trading, particularly in emerging markets. He currently holds the position of Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader at Pictet Asset Management, a role he has been in since August 2022. He has held significant roles such as Senior Emerging Markets Trader at Pictet, Investment Manager at Regiments Fund Managers in Johannesburg, and positions at major banks like Goldman Sachs, HSBC, and Royal Bank of Canada, where he specialized in emerging markets fixed income trading.1
He graduated with an MSci in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge between 1998 and 2002.1 His background combines a strong academic foundation with practical experience in high-stakes trading environments.
