Daniel James

Daniel James is a highly experienced consultant in the major energy projects market, with expertise in offshore and onshore development. Based in the UK, he has provided consultancy services in Northwest Europe, Canada, and North America. Daniel's portfolio includes a wide range of roles such as Senior Project Engineer at Shell and Senior Completions and Commissioning Mechanical Engineer at KBR Building Group. His educational background includes a Foundation degree in Project Management at Prince2, an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, and an MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Daniel is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and he also holds BOSIET and CA-EBS certifications.

Currently, he is serving as the Project Management & Technical Director at WePower Consulting, where he oversees offshore and onshore development projects from early feasibility to operations. Prior to WePower Consulting, Daniel has held leadership positions in companies such as DSJ CONSULTANCY LTD and National Grid, performing roles such as Offshore Project Manager, Senior Development Manager - Marine, Onshore and Offshore Contract Manager, and Lead Mechanical Engineer - Onshore and Offshore.
