Daniel Espinel is a prospective graduate student at Northwestern University pursuing a unique blend of business and design education. He holds a strong technical background with experience in mechanical design engineering within the autonomous vehicle and indoor vertical farming industries. With a breadth of startup experience, Daniel's academic journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Currently, he is enrolled in the MMM Program at Northwestern University, simultaneously working towards a Master of Business Administration at the Kellogg School of Management and a Master of Science in Design Innovation at the McCormick School of Engineering. His professional experience includes roles such as Senior Design Engineer and Farm Design Engineer at Bowery Farming, Mechanical Design Engineer at drive.ai, and various internships at reputable companies like Google, Volkswagen, and the US Army Research Lab. Additionally, Daniel has contributed to research projects and educational endeavors during his academic pursuits.
