Daniel Lage

Daniel E. Lage is a Hematology/Oncology fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with a background in policy, management, and medical humanities.

He is a health services and outcomes researcher specializing in geriatric oncology and palliative care, with a clinical focus on genitourinary malignancies like prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer.

Daniel's current research areas include post-acute care facilities, hospice utilization at end of life, improving care transitions for advanced cancer patients, and enhancing care quality for older adults with cancer.

He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Harvard Medical School, an MBA from the University of Oxford - Said Business School, an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, and an AB/AM in History of Science (Medicine & Society Track) from Harvard University.

Previously, Daniel has served as a Resident Physician and a Summer Associate at The Boston Consulting Group.
