Daniel Chapin, Software Release Manager at Google
Daniel Chapin is the Software Release Manager for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.123 He is based in Santa Clara, California and has been with Google since July 2008.13
Prior to Google, Chapin worked at Ericsson for 9 years, starting in 1999, where he held various roles including Senior Engineer, Strategy Consultant, and Business Development.1 He was part of the team that made the first GPRS and HDPA calls in Europe and North America, which enabled IP packets to be sent across GSM/wireless networks.1
