Daniel Ceperley

Daniel Ceperley is an accomplished engineer and technical advisor with vast experience in space technology. He holds an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Daniel has held leadership positions at several organizations, including CEO and Founder at LeoLabs, Inc., and Program Director of Space Debris Tracking at SRI International. With a career spanning several years, Daniel has also worked with esteemed organizations such as IBM, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and General Electric.

At LeoLabs, Daniel worked to build the company's radar network that tracks space debris and satellites, contributing to the long-term sustainability of space operations. As Program Director of Space Debris Tracking at SRI International, he oversaw the development and implementation of programs for observing and characterizing space debris.

Daniel has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Instructor at UC Berkeley, where he taught and conducted research in advanced interferometry and large optical systems, contributing to the advancement of the field. In addition to his experience in academia, Daniel has also held technical internships with several organizations, including Ball Aerospace, TowerStreet Inc., Microwave Technologies Inc., and SAIC.

As a technical advisor at Space for Humanity, Daniel applies his expertise to advance the organization's mission of democratizing access to space exploration. With vast experience in space technology and research, he is an invaluable asset to the organization.
