Daniel Bear
Professor at Humber College
Dr. Daniel Bear is a Professor of Criminal Justice at Humber College in Toronto, Canada, and the Director of the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) at Humber.13 He specializes in drugs policy research, focusing on cannabis, harm reduction, and the policing of drugs and community policing practices.24

Dr. Bear has 20 years of experience in advocacy, research, and consulting in the field of drug policy.3 He is also involved in public education initiatives, such as the "Weed Out Misinformation" campaign, which aims to provide accurate information about cannabis based on harm reduction and benefit maximization principles.2
