Daniel Alexander
Daniel Alexander is an accomplished Venture Capitalist with extensive experience in Technology Startups, Corporate Ventures, Strategic Partnerships, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Mr. Alexander has a strong financial background, and his areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, CAD/CAM, B2B and B2C. He has worked with a range of portfolio companies and has facilitated profitable exits.
He received his education from Harvard College, where he studied A.B. After this, he went on to study M.B.A. at Harvard Business School.
Before entering the venture capital world, Alexander was the Healthcare Economics Project Manager at Healthcare Economics Study. He soon went on to establish CambridgeLight Partners, a consulting firm that provided strategic advisory services to entrepreneurial companies. He then worked at Idealab as a Portfolio Officer and later as a Vice President (Senior Investment Officer) at The Chatterjee Group (affiliate of Soros Fund Management). He founded Interface Capital and held the position of Founder & CEO before moving to BMW as President: BMW Technologies, Inc. He later worked with Ampersand Ventures as a Partner.
